Which backlink URLs should you submit?

Submit the live page where the backlink exists—not the destination page receiving the link. Confirm the link is visible in the rendered HTML and that the linking URL does not require a login.

Prioritize links that matter to the campaign rather than sending every profile, parameter URL or duplicate version.

  • Published guest posts
  • Niche-edit pages after the link is added
  • Local citations and public directory listings
  • Press releases and editorial mentions
  • Public profile, Web 2.0 and resource pages
  • Tier-two pages that link to an important backlink

Why some backlinks remain unindexed

Many backlink pages are low in a site's internal hierarchy, have little unique content or exist on domains with large volumes of low-value URLs. Search engines may crawl them slowly or decide not to index them.

An indexing service cannot override a noindex directive, robots block, login wall, removed page or poor canonical setup.

  • The page is orphaned or buried deeply
  • The host publishes large volumes of near-duplicate pages
  • The backlink page has no unique value
  • The page is blocked or returns an error
  • The backlink is injected only after heavy JavaScript execution
  • The site canonicalizes the page elsewhere

How to use FastIndexingBot for a link campaign

Create a separate batch for each client, month, vendor or campaign. Paste the exact linking-page URLs, review rejected and duplicate rows, then submit the clean list.

Use the batch ID as your audit trail. The dashboard keeps accepted URLs, timestamps, processing states and owner notes in one place, and preserves an auditable campaign record for reporting.

  • Name batches consistently
  • Keep the source/vendor in your internal notes
  • Export completed batches for reporting
  • Avoid resubmitting failed URLs until the page problem is fixed
  • Check the actual backlink is still present before spending another credit

Backlink indexing is only one part of link quality

An indexed page does not automatically mean a backlink is valuable. Relevance, placement, page quality, crawlability, anchor context and the linking site's reputation still matter.

Use indexing status as an operational metric, not as proof that a link will improve rankings.

Frequently asked questions

What URL do I submit for backlink indexing?

Submit the exact public page that contains the backlink, not the URL being linked to.

Do I need Search Console access to the linking site?

FastIndexingBot accepts public third-party URLs. Official Google Search Console recrawl requests, however, require property access.

Does an indexed backlink always pass SEO value?

No. Indexing only means the page may be stored in the search index. Link quality and ranking impact depend on many other signals.

Can I upload backlinks in bulk?

Yes. Use the bulk URL indexer or paste one backlink URL per line in the dashboard.
